About this blog
In theory: This is for residents and guests of greater Cincinnati. Hopefully you will find it to be a good introduction to many curious yet accessible places off the beaten path.
In practice: Let’s gawk at stuff.
Oh, and I’m not one of those bloggers who loves to copy-and-paste. Unless otherwise noted, all of the text and photographs here are mine. The skyline image on the header of this blog is public domain.
About the inspiration
Some of what I’ve posted on this blog was first seen in an Architreks tour, hosted by the Cincinnati Preservation Association. Two-hour tours cost the same as a movie ticket but are a more fulfilling experience.
I also encourage you to visit the Cincinnati Historical Society Library, located in the basement of Union Terminal. A small portion of their collection is also available online.
About the author
Elizabeth has lived more than half her life in the greater Cincinnati area. She grew up on the East Side and now lives with her husband downtown. The West Side continues to mystify her.
Hey thought you might appreciate my blog…its about humor and architecture, occasionally making local references to cincinnati. keep up the good work.
